Welcome to Debbie Simmons
our new Centre Manager
Hi,
I thought it might be good to introduce myself properly to you. I
was brought up in Swindon but have lived in this area now for over 30
years. I'm married to Andy, and we have two sons, Darren and
Chris who both went to nearby school and colleges.
Since 1986 I have worked for Hampshire either in local infant/primary schools, Fareham college and, more recently, the Early Education and Childcare Unit based in Winchester. I am absolutely thrilled to join the teams at Oak Meadow and Strawberry Meadow and really look forward to meeting lots of you over the coming weeks. Fortunately my previous work brought me into contact with people who work at the Centres and in Growing Places so I have been welcomed by plenty of friendly faces.
I will be trying to get out to all of the groups across the different areas over the next couple of months and will be reading your feedback sheets/comments to get a better idea of your views and suggestions for developing our work. If you see me around the Centre please come up and say hello.
