Southsea Common

Seaside walk – quite busy at the weekends. Across the road on the common you can fly kites, picnic, play ball games, play area.

Free, but parking meter parking. Crazy golf next to fun fair at Clarence Pier.

Southsea Park

Clarence Esplanade, Southsea, just behind the Hovercraft jetty.

A fantastic play area, with a wonderful sand area, great climbing frames – a very clean and safe environment.

Stanley Park

Stokes Bay beach front- a little road, in the middle of the grass area, with signs to the Hotel, walk through, past the Hotel and you enter a fantastic wood and park area, with a huge fish pond and wonderful walks. Lots of small-enclosed areas great for picnics

The year membership is worthwhile. Very nice. You can go in the guinea pig and rabbit enclosure. Nice park to picnic but little ones need help.

Food can be purchased for the animals for £1 a bag and it goes a long way. The café does reasonable priced food a nice variety, not large portions. Spring a great time to go and enjoy the young animals. All very friendly.

Victoria Park

Arundel Street. Opposite catholic cathedral

A wonderful quite space, in a crazy city. The area has a great children's area, to watch the rabbits and birds. Great little play area with a wooden bus/train to climb all over. Great play area, with lots of shade from the trees.
